Introduction
If you have multiple feedback boards, you might not want all of your moderators to access all boards.
It's easy to control board access from your Feature Upvote account's Team settings.
Restricting access for new team members
From your Feature Upvote dashboard, in the top navigation, select Team.
From here you can add new team members.
When you add a new team member to your account, you can assign them the "admin" role or the "moderator" role.
- Admins have access to all boards, and can moderate all boards.
- Moderators have access to specific boards.
When you select "moderator" from the list of roles, you'll see a list of boards.
By default, the moderator is assigned to all boards. Simply unselect the ones you don't want them to have access to before clicking on "Send invitation".
If a moderator has no access, they won't see the board at all in your Feature Upvote dashboard.
Changing access for existing moderators
From the "Team" settings, find the relevant moderator, and click on "Edit Role & Access"
You'll see their existing board access settings.
From here you can add access to additional boards, or remove access from existing boards.
Changing moderator access to new boards
When you create a new board, by default, all existing moderators have access to it.
To remove moderator access to a new board, follow the instructions in the Changing access for existing moderators section of this page.
